Csopak residents are proposing a community garden and child-friendly green space on an abandoned plot.
The abandoned municipal plot at the end of Füredi út could become a public garden. Residents are ready to maintain it through volunteer work; the municipality would only need to provide the basic infrastructure. The project would involve both young families and older residents of the town.

Providing local farmers and craftspeople with a stable, covered market space would boost the local economy and community ties. The current open-air market is barely usable in wet weather, and a solution that works beyond the tourist season is needed.
Repeated incidents of disorderly conduct at night are undermining public safety in downtown Várpalota.
Both residents and hospitality workers report that fights and disturbances regularly break out on Friday and Saturday nights on Thuri György tér and Bajcsy-Zsilinszky utca. Increased police patrols and an upgraded camera system are needed to restore public order.
